The place was lovely historic and enchanting. the breakfast selection was delicious and scrumptious, including delicate crystal and delicious courses. Friendly staff was available all the time. the location was absolutely perfect and great, with a short walk to the two ponds and easy access to Hendersonville, Lake Lure, Asheville, Charlotte, and Blue Ridge Parkway.

The hotel's location was the best part, as it was central to many attractions nearby such as Asheville, Hendersonville, Lake Lure, Blue Ridge Parkway. Furthermore, the attention to detail was evident everywhere we looked, from the meticulously maintained surroundings to the inviting setting for outdoor downtime. The rooms themselves were comfortable and attractive, with soft sheets, fluffy towels, and original furniture that added charm. Additionally, the breakfast provided was absolutely delicious and unique, making it a 5-star experience.
All was more than satisfactory.

We had a fantastic stay at Carrier Houses! The hosts, Russell and Jim, were incredibly friendly and knowledgeable about the area. They provided us with great hiking and dining recommendations that really enhanced our trip. The rooms were spacious and comfortable, and the provided amenities like soap and water were plentiful. The location was perfect, with plenty of restaurants and shops within walking distance. The breakfasts were absolutely delicious and the dining experience was delightful. it felt like a home away from home and we can't wait to book our next stay!

This vintage B&B had beautifully decorated rooms and well-maintained facilities. The homemade breakfasts made from local ingredients were outstanding. The owners' hospitality was exceptional, making us feel right at home. I would highly recommend this B&B to friends visiting the North Carolina mountains.

I had the most wonderful stay at a charming bed & breakfast in the Foothills of NC. The accommodations were well-appointed and I felt so welcome as soon as I arrived. The hosts, Russell and Jim, were attentive and made sure I had everything I needed throughout my stay. They even called ahead to check for any special needs I might have. The breakfasts were absolutely amazing and catered to my specific dietary needs. I loved sitting on the front porch, sipping coffee and taking in the adorable town. The attention to detail was impeccable, from the beautifully decorated Victorian decor to the coffee station outside my room. I felt completely spoiled during my stay. I stayed in the deluxe king room with a jacuzzi tub and private entrance, and it was everything I could have wanted and more. The bath ball provided for soaking in the tub was a nice touch. And let's talk about breakfast! Starting with a delightful yogurt and fruit parfait, followed by mouthwatering stuffed French toast, I was in culinary heaven. Jim cooked up a different breakfast each day, making sure there was always something new and delicious to enjoy. The proximity of the bed & breakfast to the Biltmore House and Gardens was perfect for my visit, and the hosts even provided transportation to and from the World Equestrian Games. my stay at this bed & breakfast exceeded my expectations and I would highly recommend it to anyone.
